Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Sound Haven Music Festival ("Sound Haven," "Festival," "Event"), operated by Sound Haven Fest LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing a ticket, entering the Festival grounds or campgrounds, or participating in any Festival activities, you ("Attendee," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before purchasing tickets or attending the Festival.

SOUND HAVEN IS A STRICTLY 18+ EVENT. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WILL BE ADMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DO NOT PURCHASE A TICKET OR ATTEND THE FESTIVAL.

1. Age Requirement — 18+ Only

• Sound Haven is an 18+ event. No one under the age of 18 is permitted on Festival grounds or in the campgrounds at any time, for any reason — including infants and children, and regardless of whether they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID) is required for entry. No ID, no entry — no exceptions, no refunds
• Photocopies, photos of IDs, expired IDs, and temporary paper IDs will not be accepted
• Anyone found to have entered using false identification, or to have assisted a minor in gaining entry, will be removed from the Festival without refund and may be banned from future events and referred to law enforcement
• You must be at least 21 years of age with valid ID to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol. Attendees under 21 who attempt to purchase or consume alcohol will be removed without refund
• Wristbands or other credentials issued at entry will indicate age verification status for alcohol service

2. Tickets, Wristbands & Entry

2.1 Ticket Validity

• All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated
• Tickets are valid only for the date(s) and access level specified on the ticket
• Entry is subject to availability and venue capacity limits
• We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Festival at our sole discretion
• Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be replaced
• Tickets obtained from unauthorized third parties, scalpers, or secondary resale sources may be invalid, counterfeit, or previously cancelled, and will be refused at the gate without refund. We are not responsible for tickets purchased outside our official ticketing partner
• Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes without our prior written consent

2.2 Wristband Policy

• Upon entry, your ticket will be exchanged for a Festival wristband, which must be worn at all times while on Festival grounds
• Wristbands must be affixed to your wrist by Festival staff and fitted snugly; wristbands may not be slipped on and off
• Tampered, cut, stretched, taped, damaged, or removed wristbands are void and will not be replaced
• Wristbands are non-transferable. Selling, sharing, or giving your wristband to another person is prohibited and will result in confiscation and removal
• You are responsible for your wristband. Lost or stolen wristbands will not be replaced without proof of purchase and are replaced solely at our discretion, and a replacement fee may apply
• If RFID wristbands are used, unauthorized copying, cloning, or interference with RFID technology is prohibited

2.3 Entry, Search & Security

• All persons, bags, vehicles, tents, coolers, and belongings are subject to search upon entry and at any time while on Festival grounds or in the campgrounds
• Security measures may include metal detectors, pat-downs, bag searches, vehicle searches, and drug-detection measures
• Refusal to submit to search will result in denial of entry or removal, without refund
• Law enforcement officers will be present on-site and may act independently of Festival security
• Amnesty boxes may be available at entry gates to surrender prohibited items without penalty before search

2.4 Re-Entry

• Re-entry between the campgrounds and the Festival venue is permitted for attendees with valid camping wristbands, subject to search at each entry
• Vehicle re-entry to the campgrounds may be limited or prohibited once parked; check current Festival information for details
• All re-entry is subject to the same search and security procedures as initial entry

3. Prohibited Items & Conduct

3.1 Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited and will result in confiscation and possible removal from the Festival:

• Weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, tasers, pepper spray, brass knuckles, etc.), including those carried with a permit
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
• Nitrous oxide tanks, chargers ("whippets"), or balloons
• Outside food or beverages inside the Festival venue (except as permitted under the campground alcohol policy and sealed water as posted)
• Glass containers of any kind
• Professional cameras or recording equipment, detachable lenses, tripods, or audio recording devices (without prior press/media authorization)
• Drones or remote-controlled aircraft
• Laser pointers
• Large bags or backpacks exceeding posted size restrictions; all bags subject to search
• Chairs, tents, or umbrellas inside the venue (permitted in campgrounds only)
• Fireworks, flares, explosives, or open flames (campfires and camp stoves only as expressly permitted in designated camping areas)
• Generators inside the venue (campground generator rules posted separately)
• Animals or pets (except certified service animals as defined by the ADA)
• Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, or golf carts inside the venue
• Unauthorized vendor merchandise or promotional materials, flyers, stickers, or samples
• Chains, studded jewelry, or spiked accessories
• Totems or flags exceeding posted size limits, or made of hard/dangerous materials (see Section 3.3)
• Squirt guns, misters, or water balloons
• Any item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by security staff in their sole discretion

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Fighting, aggressive behavior, or harassment of any kind
• Illegal drug use, possession, distribution, or sale
• Excessive intoxication or disorderly conduct
• Moshing, crowd surfing, stage diving, or other dangerous crowd activities
• Unauthorized vending, solicitation, promotion, or distribution of materials
• Scalping or unauthorized resale of tickets or wristbands on or near Festival grounds
• Sitting on shoulders or persistently blocking the views of other attendees
• Climbing on structures, stages, scaffolding, fences, trees, or equipment
• Entering restricted, backstage, or production areas without proper credentials
• Throwing objects of any kind
• Public urination or defecation outside designated facilities
• Tampering with, damaging, or defacing property, facilities, or the natural environment
• Interfering with the duties of Festival staff, security, medical personnel, or law enforcement
• Violating local, state, or federal laws

3.3 Totems & Flags

• Totems must be made of lightweight materials (foam, pool noodles, cardboard tubes, light plastic); no metal, solid wood, or PVC over posted thickness limits
• Totems displaying offensive, hateful, or infringing imagery are prohibited
• Festival staff may confiscate any totem deemed unsafe or inappropriate at any time

4. Alcohol Policy

• You must be 21 or older with valid government-issued photo ID to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol anywhere on Festival grounds, including the campgrounds
• Alcohol purchased inside the venue must be consumed inside the venue
• Limited quantities of personal alcohol may be brought from the campgrounds into the venue only during posted hours and subject to posted limits; cases, bulk quantities, full-size liquor bottles, boxed wine, large containers, and all glass are prohibited
• Providing alcohol to anyone under 21 is illegal and will result in removal and referral to law enforcement
• We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone, at any time, for any reason, including apparent intoxication
• Attendees who appear intoxicated may be denied entry, denied service, or removed from the Festival without refund

5. Drug Policy

• The use, possession, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs or controlled substances is strictly prohibited anywhere on Festival grounds, including the campgrounds
• Violators are subject to immediate removal without refund, permanent ban from future events, and referral to law enforcement
• Marijuana and marijuana products are prohibited on Festival grounds regardless of any state law, medical card, or prescription
• Prescription medications are permitted only in their original pharmacy container with a label matching the attendee's ID, and only in quantities needed for the duration of the event. Details are available in our FAQ
• If you or someone near you needs medical help for any reason — including drug- or alcohol-related distress — seek out medical staff immediately. Your health and safety come first

6. Camping, Parking & Vehicles

6.1 Campgrounds

• Camping is permitted only in designated camping areas with a valid camping pass, and only during posted arrival and departure windows
• These Terms and Conditions, including the 18+ age requirement and Code of Conduct, apply fully within the campgrounds at all times, including overnight
• Quiet hours, campfire rules, generator rules, and RV requirements will be posted and must be followed
• Campsites are subject to search at any time
• You are responsible for your campsite, your gear, and the conduct of your guests at your campsite
• All trash must be bagged and disposed of in designated receptacles; leave your campsite clean ("leave no trace"). Abandoned gear may be disposed of or donated after the Festival
• We are not responsible for theft of or damage to camping equipment, vehicles, or personal property

6.2 Parking & Vehicles

• Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas and may be subject to search upon entry
• You park at your own risk; we are not responsible for damage to or theft from vehicles
• Illegally parked vehicles or vehicles blocking roadways, fire lanes, or emergency access will be towed at the owner's expense
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is illegal and grounds for immediate removal and referral to law enforcement
• Sleeping in vehicles is permitted only in designated car/RV camping areas with the appropriate pass

7. Health & Safety

7.1 Assumption of Risk

By attending the Festival, you acknowledge that attendance at a live outdoor music event and campground carries inherent risks, and you voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, including but not limited to:

• Risk of injury or death from crowd activities, crowd movement or surge, weather conditions, terrain, or venue hazards
• Exposure to loud music and sustained sound levels that may cause permanent hearing damage; ear protection is strongly recommended
• Exposure to strobe lights, lasers, pyrotechnics, fog/haze effects, and other visual effects that may trigger photosensitive epilepsy or other conditions
• Risk of illness or communicable diseases
• Heat exhaustion, dehydration, sunburn, hypothermia, or other environmental exposure
• Risks associated with overnight camping, including uneven terrain, insects, and wildlife
• Risk of loss or theft of personal property
• Physical and mental health risks associated with large gatherings
• Actions of other attendees and third parties

7.2 Medical Attention

• Medical staff will be available on-site for the duration of the Festival
• By attending, you consent to receive emergency medical treatment if you are unable to provide consent at the time treatment is needed
• You are responsible for any medical expenses incurred during or as a result of the Festival
• Bring necessary medications and medical supplies (see Section 5 regarding prescription medications)
• Notify Festival staff immediately if you witness a medical emergency
• Free water refill stations will be available; stay hydrated

7.3 Weather & Environmental Conditions

• The Festival is an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine
• Severe weather may cause delays, interruptions, evacuations, schedule changes, or cancellation of all or part of the event
• In an evacuation or shelter-in-place order, you must follow the instructions of Festival staff, security, and law enforcement immediately
• We are not responsible for weather-related inconveniences, and weather delays or interruptions do not entitle you to a refund
• Attendees should prepare for varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, mud, and wind

7.4 Emergency Procedures

• Familiarize yourself with the locations of exits, medical tents, and information booths upon arrival
• In an emergency, follow all instructions from Festival staff, posted signage, video screens, and public address announcements
• Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in removal without refund

8. Cancellation, Postponement & Refunds

8.1 Event Changes

• We reserve the right to modify the Festival schedule, set times, lineup, stages, or venue at any time without notice
• Lineup changes, including artist cancellations or substitutions, do not constitute grounds for refunds. Artists are subject to change
• The Festival may be postponed or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control
• We will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees of significant changes via email and social media

8.2 Refund Policy

• All ticket sales are final — no refunds or exchanges
• Refunds will only be issued if the Festival is completely cancelled and not rescheduled
• Weather delays, lineup changes, or shortened performances do not qualify for refunds
• Denial of entry or removal from the Festival for violation of these Terms does not qualify for a refund
• If the Festival is cancelled, refunds will be limited to the ticket face value (not including fees)
• Refund processing may take 30-60 days from the cancellation date
• We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other expenses related to Festival attendance; we strongly recommend travel insurance

8.3 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics or public health emergencies, government restrictions or orders, strikes or labor disputes, terrorism, war, civil unrest, utility or infrastructure failures, or venue unavailability.

9. Photography, Recording & Use of Your Image

9.1 Photography & Video by Attendees

• Personal, non-professional cameras and smartphones are permitted for personal use only
• Professional cameras (detachable lenses), video equipment, tripods, and audio recording devices are prohibited without approved press/media credentials
• Commercial use, sale, or licensing of any photos or videos taken at the Festival is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent
• Live streaming or recording of performances without permission is prohibited and may violate artists' rights

9.2 Consent to Be Photographed & Recorded

The Festival will be photographed, filmed, and recorded, and closed-circuit and other cameras will be in operation throughout the Festival grounds and campgrounds. By entering the Festival, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded — including your image, likeness, voice, and appearance — by us, our media partners, sponsors, artists, and their respective agents, without notice to you.

You grant Sound Haven Fest LLC and its affiliates, licensees, sponsors, and assigns the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, and display any such photographs, video, audio, and recordings in any media now known or later developed — including social media, websites, broadcast, streaming, advertising, and other promotional or commercial purposes — without compensation, credit, or further approval. You waive any right to inspect or approve such uses and release us from any claims related to them, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or defamation.

10. Merchandise, Vendors & Cashless Payments

• Only authorized vendors may sell goods or services on Festival grounds. Purchases from unauthorized vendors are at your own risk
• Counterfeit or bootleg merchandise is prohibited and will be confiscated
• Food, beverage, and merchandise transactions may be card-only or cashless; check Festival information for payment details and ATM availability
• All vendor sales are between you and the vendor; we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or fitness of vendor goods or services
• Pre-ordered camping supplies are subject to the pre-order terms posted at the time of purchase, including pickup deadlines and ID requirements

11. Intellectual Property

All Festival content, including but not limited to logos, branding, trademarks, music performances, stage designs, artwork, and promotional materials, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any Festival content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. "Sound Haven," the Sound Haven logo, and related marks are the property of Sound Haven Fest LLC.

12. Waiver, Liability & Indemnification

12.1 Release & Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE SOUND HAVEN FEST LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS, ARTISTS, VENDORS, SPONSORS, VENUE OWNERS, AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, THE "RELEASED PARTIES") FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THE FESTIVAL, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.

12.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

• Your attendance at or inability to attend the Festival
• Personal injury, death, or property damage
• Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, vehicles, or camping equipment
• Actions or omissions of other attendees, artists, vendors, or third parties
• Festival cancellation, postponement, or changes
• Any errors or omissions in Festival information or materials

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the face value of the ticket you purchased.

12.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your attendance at the Festival, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or violation of any laws or rights of third parties.

13. Code of Conduct, Consent & Harassment Policy

Sound Haven Festival is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all attendees, staff, artists, and vendors. We have zero tolerance for:

• Harassment, stalking, intimidation, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or appearance
• Sexual harassment, unwanted physical contact, or any sexual contact without clear consent
• Non-consensual photography or recording of individuals
• Violence, threats, or aggressive behavior
• Theft, vandalism, or destruction of property
• Any behavior that endangers the safety or enjoyment of others

Consent matters — always. If someone is impaired, unconscious, or says no, there is no consent. Violation of this Code of Conduct will result in immediate removal from the Festival without refund and may result in being banned from future events and referral to law enforcement. If you experience or witness harassment or unsafe behavior, report it immediately to any Festival staff member, security, or the nearest medical or information booth. We encourage all attendees to look out for one another.

14. Accessibility (ADA)

We strive to make Sound Haven Festival accessible to all attendees. Accessible parking, camping, viewing areas, and facilities are available, and certified service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome. Please contact us in advance at info@soundhavenfestival.com to arrange accommodations or request information about accessible facilities and services.

15. Lost & Found

A Lost & Found will be available at the Festival information booth. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Found items will be held for a limited time and may be discarded or donated after the Festival concludes. Contact us after the Festival to inquire about lost items.

16. Privacy & Data Collection

Your privacy is important to us. Information collected during ticket purchase and Festival attendance — including information collected via RFID wristbands, cashless payment systems, and on-site cameras — is subject to our Privacy Policy. By purchasing a ticket or attending the Festival, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

17. Disputes & Governing Law

17.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State where the Festival takes place, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or your attendance at the Festival shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

17.3 Venue & Jurisdiction

You agree that any legal action or proceeding related to the Festival shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the county where the Festival takes place, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

19. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued attendance at the Festival or use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions periodically.
